Andrew Estrada

Andrew Estrada began his career in the fire service in 1999 on a Type II wildland firefighting hand crew. In 2000, Andrew joined the Black Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew, an elite Type I wildland firefighting hand crew and remained with Black Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew for five seasons.

Estrada attended Butte Fire Academy in 2005, and worked as a paramedic with Bi-County Ambulance Service and as an apprentice firefighter with South Placer prior to being hired in 2009 as a firefighter/paramedic with Yocha Dehe Fire Department.
