Jesse Hall
Jesse Hall is an engineer and paramedic at Yocha Dehe Fire Department. Jesse grew up in the small town of Columbia, Calif. and always wanted to become a firefighter and follow the steps of his father and brother. Working to fulfill this dream, he took college fire science classes while still in attendance at Sonora High School.
In 1996, Jesse became a firefighter trainee with the CDF/Tuolumne County Fire Department and the Columbia Fire Protection District. He graduated at the top of his firefighter academy class, became an EMT, and gathered other fire and rescue certifications. In 1998 he was hired by the U.S. Forest Service and worked as a firefighter on an engine crew, eventually becoming acting engineer. In 2002, Jesse attended NCTI in Roseville to become a paramedic.
After becoming a licensed paramedic, he achieved a milestone goal and was hired by the YDFD as a firefighter and paramedic, and soon after was promoted to engineer and medic. Jesse is very proud to be part of the YDFD family.
