Norm Alexander
Norm Alexander is a firefighter and paramedic at Yocha Dehe Fire Department. He was born and raised in San Jose, Calif.
He attended West Valley College and received his associate’s degree in fire science and emergency medical paramedic technology from Butte College. He comes with experience from Meridian Fire District, Sutter County Fire, the U.S. Forest Service and Butte County Fire Department. Norm also has a year and a half’s experience as a 911 transporting paramedic with Bi-County Ambulance.
In his spare time he enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and golfing. Norm is currently working on his fire officer's certification with a goal to become an engineer with YDFD.
