Amid Temporary Closure, CCCR Donates Food to Schools

BROOKS, CA (March 20, 2020) – Eggs by the case, tortillas, fresh kale, sprouts, potatoes and peppers and more- thousands of dollars in food was donated to the Esparto Unified School District today by Cache Creek Casino Resort.

The high-end food items were delivered today and will be used in the School District’s effort to continue its meal program for students, despite the closure of campuses and classrooms.

Leadership announces temporary closure of CCCR due to COVID-19

BROOKS, CA (March 14, 2020) – The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation and Cache Creek Casino Resort Executive leadership has made the difficult decision to temporarily cease operations due to concern over the spread of COVID-19 in California. Cache Creek Casino Resort will begin closing procedures at 6:00 am on 3/17/2020. The closure will remain in place while we continue to assess the situation. 

Tribal Leadership and Casino Management stand with the State and our communities in the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. 

Destination Resort Project Update

The Tribal Council of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation has decided not to proceed with the currently proposed version of its Destination Resort Project (DRP).
